Stripped operates the website strippedeg.com, our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages, and our WhatsApp Business line. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy is written with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 in mind, alongside the general expectations of Shopify and Meta (Instagram/Facebook). It is not legal advice — have a lawyer review it before publishing if you want full legal sign-off.

1. Who We Are

Stripped is an Egyptian clothing label built on a simple idea: take everything unnecessary out of a garment, and what remains has to be right. The cut. The weight of the fabric. The way a shoulder falls. There is nowhere to hide in a plain piece, which is exactly why we make them.

2. What We Collect

Provided by you

  • Name, phone number, email, shipping and billing address — at checkout, via the Contact page, or in WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook messages
  • Order details — items purchased, sizes, colors, order history, returns/exchanges
  • Payment information — processed directly by our payment provider through Shopify; we do not store your full card number
  • Messages you send us — including anything shared over WhatsApp or Instagram/Facebook DMs

Collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site — collected via Shopify's built-in analytics and cookies
  • Advertising data — if we run Instagram/Facebook ads, Meta's pixel may collect browsing behavior on the Site to measure and target ads.

From third parties

  • Shopify (platform, checkout, hosting)
  • Payment processor used at checkout
  • Meta (Instagram/Facebook), if you interact with our ads or shop features there
  • Shipping/courier partners, to fulfill and track your order

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, handle returns and exchanges
  • Respond to questions sent via the Contact page, WhatsApp, or social DMs
  • Send order updates and, if you've opted in, promotional messages about new drops and offers
  • Improve the Site and our product range based on browsing and purchase patterns
  • Run and measure advertising campaigns on Instagram/Facebook
  • Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

4. Who We Share It With

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Shopify, which hosts the store and processes transactions
  • Our payment processor, to complete payment
  • Shipping/courier companies, to deliver your order
  • Meta, for ad delivery and measurement, if you engage with our Instagram/Facebook ads
  • Authorities, if required by Egyptian law or a valid legal request

5. WhatsApp and Instagram/Facebook Messages

If you message us on WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook, your phone number/handle and the content of the conversation are stored on those platforms and on our device, and are subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own privacy policies in addition to this one. We use these messages only to respond to you and process any related order.

6. Cookies

The Site uses cookies (via Shopify) to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. If ad tracking is enabled, cookies may also be used to show you relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

We keep order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns, meet tax/accounting obligations under Egyptian law, and resolve disputes. Message history on WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook is retained per those platforms' own settings.

8. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Withdraw consent to marketing messages at any time

9. Children

Our Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information (like full card numbers) over WhatsApp or DMs — always use the secure checkout on the Site.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
